Developed severe allergies on my arms from Andalou body lotion with mandarin and vanilla. I used a cortizone creme which took the itch and irritation away after a couple of days. I discontinued the use of it and my rash disappeared.
I also used a leave in conditioner in my hair and after going through a couple of tubes, my scalp started itching severely, so much so, I went to see a doctor, she recommended a topical steroid creme as she could not tell what is was. I discontinued using the conditioner for a while and the itching stopped. I re-started using the conditioner and the severe itching came back immediately after using it.
It has taking me close to one week for the itching to subside which was helped by using a tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner.
